I'm looking for a book/guide/VHS etc. on the use of (specifically) a side-handle baton. Suggestions? Other info concerning it is also welcome.

Cheers,

Fundamentals of Modern Impact Weapons by Massad Ayoob has some pages on the PR24. But..the weapon is falling out of favor. Remember how the Rodney King cops used theirs? Thats what most officers end up doing. A straight baton and a few hours of training will do the job.

Thanks for the link. This wasn't exactly what I was looking for, however I'll read it through.( I am looking for more up-to-date information...;))

BTW, if one decides to propose Applegate's Kill or get killed: I have it, I've read some of it, so no need for posting the link. Thanks!

Cheers,
