This is just a wild suggestion and I would like to know what other aikidoka's think about it.
Normally you do a randori with one person as tori. Now my idea was, what if 2 people would be tori at the same time? That way it is more realistic like when you see it a bar for example.
I am going to try it with my group, as a test, and see if we can create something for a new demonstration as well.
What are your thoughts about it?

A form of randori in which both participants are able to initiate and conuter techniques exists in Shodokan aikido (toshu randori/randori kyogi).
In the inexperienced it sometimes becomes a little bit of a wrestling match, but becomes a very useful learning experience if both participants are able to play openly with emphasis on yeilding to generate opportunity.
I hope your test runs smoothly!

This form of Randori already exists in Korindo Aikido,
Actually, in my club, when we refer to Randori this is what we mean.
Both sides both attack and perform techniques and or counters.

Naturally there are various levels of Randori.
Some more info. can be reached by reading the following article translated by th Hong-Kong club from a lecturre given by one of Korind Aikido Shihans :
