Hi guys. I was reading the other day that both Musashi and Yagyu Munenori both fought for Tokugawa in the Battle of Sekigahara. Is there any evidence that the two ever met or even trained together?

As far as I know Musashi, was fighting for Hideyori and Yagyu Munenori would be among the forces of Tokugawa Ieyasu. Also i suspect their rank at that time would be hugely different making the chance of an encounter between them at this era a bit slim. Musashi was around 17 when he fought, I suspect Munenori was quite a bit older and possibly in a position of some minor importance hence bringing his skill to the attention of Ieyasu and the installation of the Yagyu Family as Sword instructors to the Tokugawa Shogunate.

Perhaps later in life, or maybe an encounter between Musashi and one of his sons is probable.

I am sure Hyakutake Sama can offer a more informative version, and heres a link to his website for Hyoho Niten Ichi Ryu

according to this web page (http://www.blackbeltmag.com/archives/blackbelt/1983/jan83/yagyu/yagyu.html), Munenori and his father, Muneyoshi, were given an audience with Ieyasu in 1594 to demonstrate their swordsmanship. the two became instrumental in Ieyasu's political maneuvering well before Sekigahara. sorry i can't comment on the Musashi-Munenori connection, but i thought this article might help a bit.

We sometimes meet at each others functions and national events and usually end up in each others rooms and discuss similarities/differences. But as far as I know there are no notable recorded historical events between the two ryu.
