Hello all,
I'm a shotokan and wado karateka who's taken up the sword art of Haidong Gumdo in Korea for the past year. I was just wondering if anyone else on this community had ever tried Gumdo and if so, what differences you saw between Gumdo and Kenjutsu?
I'm interested mainly because there are no Gumdo dojangs back in Alberta Canada, but there is a kenjutsu ryu. So in order to continue with the sword, I may have to switch styles.
