Can anyone spell for me in romaji a polite Japanese translation of the phrase "Do you speak English?"

Eigo wo hanasemasu ka?

eigo o* hanasukotoga dekimasuka?

or

eigo o* hanasereru ka?

*some texts teach 'o' some 'wo'. I have found it doesnt really matter when speaking to Japanese.

Adam's sentance is similar to my second, using the potentional form, just a diffrent uhh... way of phrasing. Its whatever comes natural to you of course.
the first sentance above also uses potential form, just a diffrent grammar form (the kotogadekimasu instead of.. never mind..your not here for a lesson and I'm getting carried away. Me and my big head (Disclaimer : I'm only a student, fluent people, please do not destroy my fragile, fragile ego just for laughs... :) ).

If its all too much, how about

eigo o wakaru (ka)? ==> do you understand English
