A google search of his name and Butoku Kai used to get you right to him.

Good luck.

don't forget - sign in with your full name.

Ken Tallack sp? is hooked up with Hamada as his rep in Canada when last we spoke.

Kyoshi McCarthy is no loner affiliated with them as far as I know, but he sure could give you the skinny on all sorts of things BuTokuKai related, as he introduced Kyoshi Tallack to BuTokuKai.

Pat McCarthy's info:

New to the thread.

I'll be moving back to Virginia Beach in a couple of years, and I wanted to get some opinions on this man and the arts that he teaches. Does anyone konw of his actual training background / history. Does anyone know if he is a legitimate teacher?

Thanks in advance,

Best person to ask is McCarthy Sensei - koryu-uchinadi.com (http://www.koryu-uchinadi.com/)

They are very approachable and I'm sure will answer any questions about themselves, and Dr. H. Tesshin Hamada, Hanshi, who is the Chair, International Division and USA Honbu.

Try contacting William Stockey Sensei, he was a senior student of Hamada Sensei for over 20 years. He is in Fairfax, VA. His email is mejin@aol.com

Hope this helps,
