Dear all,
What do these words mean?
To clarify, I know the tool that the term refers to, but I'm curious as to what the actual words 'kyoketsu' and 'shoge' mean. I ran a search and didn't get much help.
Idly curious,

Hi Eric,
I ran a search and here's what I found. I cannot understand the kanji, however, so perhaps if you can you can find out the translation.

Have fun in NY.

Edit: I pasted in the kanji into Altavista's Babelfish, and got "Spur traversing hair". Dunno.

Eric,
Why not ask Dave or Sensei this weekend? I'm sure if anyone knows, they will. See you Sunday!

Hi guys.
For those interested, here is a link to an article I wrote on
the kyoketsu shoge several years ago:
http://www.kihon.com/articles/kyoketsu.html
The article has recently received quite a bit of attention from
several shidoshi in Europe and South America who are interested in
translating and publishing it.
It's a FLASH clip, so enjoy!
