Esoterica: who is ?¼–{“¹•Ê?

Matsumoto Michiwake was an instrumental leader in the Reigaku (—ìŠw) movement in the early part of last century. Many books on kiaijutsu, remote viewing etc were part of this movement, but I was wondering if anyone has any background on who he studied with, his associations etc?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Dear Daniel,
I asked my Shinto priest, but he didnt seem to know alot about him, but he did say The correct name is ?¼–{“¹•Ê?@Matsumoto Chiwaki. Everyone would like to pronounce 'Michiwake' according to the characters. I checked Japanese Yahoo on him but it didn't mention whom he studied with.
