Ninpo And Ninjutsu, are these two subjects the same? As for that I would like your opinions. My opinion is that they are the same and are not the same. I believe Ninpo is the modern aspect as for ninjutsu is the traditional/ancient aspect. Do you agree?

Are they the same? Yes and no. Ninpo is the art. Ninjutsu is the technics. Ninjutsu were specialized technics used by shinobi, but not the only technics. In Ninpo you learn not just the technics, but develope the spirit and heart that must go with them.

No BOTH are arts.

Ninpo is just Ninjutsu keeping with BUDO teachings.

You do not need to have any special spiritual mindest to learn and perform techniques.

Just for clarification, whoever posted that definition copied it straight out of Tanemura sensei's book, Genbukan Ninpo Bugei Fundamental Taijutsu Vol. 1, word for word, on page 5.
