Hallo there,
well, just to do something different at film school (i have a pathological hatred of typical student films)my graduation project is a samurai film of sorts - well its got samurai in it! Its a whacky sort of thing set in 1800, and basically (the in- depth storyline is secret until the films shot)its about a samurai clan that gets a) in the Shogun's bad books b)wiped out c) two blokes survive and take off with some forign pirates.......
We are shooting at the end of March in Brixham, Devon, England and we are still looking for some extras, so if you are bored and want to play a samurai in a film, let me know - email thezenscrolls@yahoo.com and the project website is www.angelfire.com/film/zenscrolls
We have been asked regularly by people if we have got off our rear ends to watch Kurosawas films - and yes we have, as well as the entire catalogue off www.artsmagic.co.uk and varied other films. Suprisingly we have done our research..
