I had heart surgery and a valve replaced last valentines day. Because of the mechanical valve I have to take coumiden(a blood thinner). When taking coumiden you are not to take vitamin K or eat any veggies with Vitamin K in it. K causes clotting, which could cause a stroke or heart attack. Those include green leafy veggies, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, green beans, and soy beans or soy products. My question is, does the nari(seaweed) wrapped around sushi have vitamin K? How about other Chinese and Japanese veggies.
My doctors can tell me nothing about those other veggies.
