Death is not a big deal for samurai. Die in duty of protecting of one's lord was a dream for any samurai. But is it not stupid action? Instead of die, why didnt they chose retreat and regroup then strike back? If you see the scene in movie "pearl harbour", when no bomb anymore the pilot just simply hit the ship. Logically if they came back to the base then refill amunition then he can strike more than 1 ship? oke........about harakiri or seppuku, it is often done when they are about captured by enemy. well suicide better than tortured by enemy but instead of stab knife by himself, why didnt just he fight till death?....but we all know that both japanese and chinese at that time learnt art of war. I need opinion from you, what's the art of war by doing kamikaze or seppuku......and also, if anyone know about history of seppuku, please tell me.....
