minnasan,

are there people here on the forum who train Genseiryu or a related style like Genwakai, Ryounkai or maybe Taido.

Take a look at Mr Lee's site about Genseiryu (it's worth looking:p )
www.genseiryu.com (http://www.genseiryu.com)

He is the official representative of Genseiryu Butokukai Japan in Europe.
His Forum deals with al aspects of Shukumine's lineage.

Regards,

Wouter Go

PS. Please give me your comments about the site or karete-lineage:nw:

I have another link for y'all..

I know this lineage of karate is not that familiar with most of you, but probably this is why it could be interesting for you all.

This time a genwakai site.
http://www.genwakai.dds.nl
It a site about Genwakai karate and is built by a student of Kobayashi Shihan, who is responsible for Genwakai Europe.

Please feel free to give your opinion.

Regardz,

Wouter Go:nw:

I have trained in Gensei ryu for about a year or so in the past, long ago. But I later found out that the Gensei ryu of the Scandinavian Genseiryu Association is very different from the style taught at honbu (or the Danish site mentioned). Honbu doesn't recognize the belt ranks given by the Scandinavian organization as there was some kind of drift between the head instructor of it and honbu.

Dear Mr. Jari Tuomivirta

I don't know the complete story..
Best is to have a look at http://www.genseiryuforum.com/ a few topics are concerned with your question. (it's to much to post here)And you are able to ask questions directly to the people who it may concern.

Wouter Go

Thanks for the link! Maybe I'll look into it when I have time... It was years ago that I trained Genseiryu, I am no longer that interested in the style, but it is nice to know what was going on.
