During my recent travels to Japan, I came across a new book by Serge Mol titled: Classical Weaponry of Japan, Special Weapons and Tactics of the Martial Arts. I was pleasantly surprised to see it and did not even know that it was in print. It is published by Kodansha and is similar in quality to his Jujutsu book.

The book is similar to Don Cunningham’s Secret Weapons of Jujutsu. Its really best described as being Don’s book on steroids! It covers a lot more weapons and history.

Anyone else seen this book yet?

I have just finished the book and I can say that it is a great read. It makes you realise just how much knowledge has been lost.

There are some very interesting weapons!
