Hi all...
Avatars; StanLee....All of them so far have been good...Silver Surfer currently, although Wolvie was always my fav!!...
And also Andy Watson's Avatar...Musashi's shrike on a twig...VERY HIGH CLASS AVATAR;) .....And a good choice.
Sig. lines; None that have stood out at me. Although David 'Soulend' Craiks messings with Kato Kiyomasa's most popular writings do actually get me reading them...The pointy end one was also good.:D ....
More as I go probably...
Regards.

Each of you, for himself, by himself and on his own
responsibility, must speak. And it is a solemn and
weighty responsibility, and not lightly to be flung
aside at the bullying of pulpit, press, government, or
the empty catchphrases of politicians. Each must for
himself alone decide what is right and what is wrong,
and which course is patriotic and which isn't. You
cannot shirk this and be a man. To decide against your
convictions is to be an unqualified and inexcusable
traitor, both to yourself and to your country, let man
label you as they may. If you alone of all the nation
shall decide one way, and that way be the right way
according to your convictions of the right, you have
done your duty by yourself and by your country- hold
up your head! You have nothing to be ashamed of.
- Mark Twain

Their citizens (all of them counted as such) glorified
the mythology of rights... and lost track of their
duties. No nation, so constituted, can survive.

Ive been asked on a few threads if this avatar is a girl. It isn't. Its Hwoarang (http://www.namcoarcade.com/tekken4/profile_hwoarang.asp) from the Tekken games.

I remember one person asked if it was REALLY you!

I've had quite a few people tell me they liked my avatar, saying its very appropriate. I actually had someone ask me for a larger copy of it for a report they were doing. Unfortunately, my sig is wicked boring, just my name, I wish I could think of something clever....

As for my favorite, I always though Charlie Kondek's had a cool vibe to it, these intense anime character's eyes.

Oh yeah! I remember someone asking if that was me in my avatar or not. I think it was my old one, which was pretty much this one but had a white background. I've been thinking of changing it, but I'm too lazy and if I change it I might go back to my old one.

Can we vote for ourselves? New avatar, old sigline. No idea where I got the sig from, but isn't it apt?

these are all shinning examples of what I was getting at people
bragging on other people so that is why I am on a quest to find
the one true avatar that could express my spirit of budo for
all to see...I'll be back later to show you all what I've found

cheers...

I asked for the full picture of your avatar. I think it is beautiful... Monkeyboy has a cool avatar too :D.

I used to have a different avatar, with Pwar in Katakana. I can still not decide which one is better.

I've always liked Matt's, too. Mike's Bettie Paige avatar, rrrooww! Ana's, Stan Lee's... Thanks, Kenshorin, by the way, I've always liked yours, too.

Hmm. He don't come around too much lately but Jim Crow had a great Hiroshige woodblock print avatar. Phil Elmore's is good.

Best sig, best sig... I need to change mine to something more clever or funny. Keep watching this space...

Edit: There we go! This is from the "Are you a legit badass" thread.

Is there any way to have two avatars ?hummm?

You can set it up so that you can have a avatar like signature e.g. Phil E.

Hehe..glad you got a kick out of that Charlie. :) A bit crude, I suppose, but true enough.

I like my avatar..I think it's a classy and balanced looking mon. I'd love to have a tsuba of this design (with a few modifications to add strength, of course).

I wouldn't do that without asking John L. The reason is because if everybody had the sigs with images, the page takes ages to load...

Okay, now if we took a hip hop approach to avatar design
I would manipulate a form of all of yours that would rotate in
rythm to the articulations I am attempting to type so all of you
can experience the flow of adroitjimon...
