I hate to do this, but circumstances require that I sell this blade. It is a HC 1086 katana that I bought as a bare blade two years ago. It has only been back with me for a few months.

Howard Clark 1086 katana, fully mounted and polished by Keith Larman. 29 1/2 in nagasa, 11 1/2 inch tsuka. Tsuba is Japanese antique with papers, round, rough iron with brass flecks. Silver habaki. Fuchi-kashira and kojiri are matching set from Ted Tenold, handachi style, menuki are his samurai bow and quiver. Incredibly tight black silk ito wrap. Saya is black hand-rubbed traditional Japanese kashu lacquer with gold dust suspended in it. Kojiri has same' under it, beautiful job. Even the seppa were hand finished by a jeweler. Incredible attention to detail in every aspect of this blade and its fittings. Keith had some pics of it on his site and here on sword forum. His 'certificate' will accompany the blade. Will include traditional Japanese obi-style sword bag and cord, and small bottle of choji, if requested. Current sageo is a triple-layer hand-woven silk one from swordstore, blues. May not be included, haven't decided yet, am too depressed. This is a powerful blade, I would recommend it for someone six foot or better, experienced swordsman preferred. This is not a wall-hanger, although the 'drool factor' is quite high. If you have been considering a Howard Clark blade, and don't want to wait two years, this is your chance.

Asking $5000, can accept credit cards through paypal. Pics soon, maybe. Serious inquiries only, please.

I feel your pain. And for once, I'm not being sarcastic.
