It is generally known that certain weapons were restricted to the Buke during the Tokugawa-shogunate, but I would be happy if anyone could inform me more about this. For example;

* Was the wearing the daisho a privilege or a demand for the Buke?
* Were the Buke allowed to bear heavier weapons such as guns, spears or halberds?
* Could officials below the Buke-cast get ther right to wear a sword, or were they always restricted to weapons such as jutte?
* Were smaller weapons such as daggers or short swords restricted in any way?
* Did the Kuge have the same rights as Buke regarding weapons?
* Were Buke-women more restricted than men?
* Was training with mock-weapons, such as bokken, forbidden for "low-ranking" people in any way?

I would be very grateful if anyone could answer some of my questions.
