Greetings to all on the boards!
Here is my question to all of you who have visited or are living in Japan:
How can a gaijin go about finding a job in Japan? My wife may have a job lined up with a school in Northern Honshuu soon, but I cannot apply for teaching jobs without a bachelors degree. After getting my AA, I stopped short of my bachelors to pursue a tech job, and did the IT thing for a while. I can get over there on a dependent's visa, but I don't want to be "dependant" on the lady in my life for my livelihood.
Any suggestions on how to look for a job either before we move, or once I arrive? I know I am up against a difficult undertaking here, and greatly appreciate any wisdom anyone has to share.
