That's a really nice blade...in this economy, I'm a little cautious about letting out that amount of cash though. And I don't cut enough to warrent the purchase. Sure makes me itch though...

I have never cut with this blade, and the polish is still in mint condition. I ussually cut with a Paul Chen production Katana ans was waiting to cut with this blade until I got more practice. But Howard Clark is known for making swords that cut extremly well, and I garuante this sword will be no different.

I usually cut with the paul chin shinto myself, and was thinking it'd be nice to get a "real" nice blade. But I guess I'll just wait till ole GB gets the engine reved up...

price reduced to $4800 plus S/H for a limited time only (2 weeks). After that my window to purchase a nihonto I have my eye on closes and the price goes back up to $5000 and I will wait it out.

Congrats! Have fun with the new one. I wish I could have gone for it...but it was just a little too long for my body and the style I have available.
