Hi there!
I whis to know if anybody knows where I can find more detailed info -books, web pages, forums- about setting up a traditional japanese forge, measurements, tools, materials, etc. Any help will be highly appreciated.
Is there any diference on working with "modern" forges?

Modern forges typically use coal or gas as fuel. The traditional Japanese forges used today use charcoal. However, there's a lot of people forging custom knives in the US using charcoal now. If you're interested in that look at
