No, make it stop. Ouch. Okay, better now. That was really good... for me to poop on. In the immortal words of a dear friend (we were watching a horrible two-tape set of 'instructional' video) in response to someone saying, "dang, he's got nothing"... yeah, but he has so much of it!

Be well,
Jigme

C'mon, what do you want? He spun the blade around, reverse grip and everything. The man is a sam-yoo-reye master, no doubt.

From his website:

At the age of five master Ca'son knew he wanted to become a martial artist when he unintentionally broke his fathers nose by throwing a front kick while playing Karate man fights the bull.

Truly out there.

Actually its VERY humorous!
you should have seen the b stick drill, its really a crazy form of a drill. :D cant really believe what i saw, its simply absurd. I have been teaching stick fighting for few years in the University, but what i saw was like a Sesame street stick drill.
too bad poeple are fooled into it.

From his website:

The word Kata has two translations and they are dance or form in BKF Karyujutsu.

How interesting....

I found that humorous in a terrifying sort of way, but humorous all the same. Those little back-hand grip demonstrations made me laugh. That han-bo demonstration got a chuckle out of me too, no power in it at all.

Ladies and Gents,

Sorry to ressurrect this thread, but I received an email today from a gentleman at Bokafu.net (not posted as per E-Budo rules) which basically slated the people (myself included) who negatively commented on the videos on this site. It included the usual 'budo spirit' 'respect for elders' blah blah stuff in it along with an invitation to go there to 'exchange ideas' in kata and kumite. :)

Has anyone else (other than the one I know) got these emails?

The master student story about 'Tanto', whose name was later changed to 'Katana', and studied under Grand Master 'Kendo' was my favorite!

anyone noice the knife he use is saw-like and stainless steel? Not counting the shinai on those ten piece stands that easily fall apart. Maybe its just me but the dojo ettiquete page doesn't work ironiclly

Where is the video? I missed it.

At least he didnt threaten legal action, seems like every time a joker gets outed really good, they threaten e-budo and it gets removed. Like the photo copying iai book incident. The Kgun ninjers and Sockanutski actually sued.

Veiled threats are just unimaginative. Challenge matches are juvenile.

How long will we have to look at this thread, Hyaku? It doesn't bode well for those of us with weak (or strong) stomachs....

Nice to see Ernie Cates' Neko-Ryu Tiger (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:NEKORYUTIGER2.gif) used for their logo (http://www.bokafu.net/bokafuemblem.htm)

Jim: " Hey Bil where did you learn that impressive katana twirl?"
Bil: "Well there is this soke -guy in New York..."

or

"A priest, a rabbi and this soke -guy go to a bar...."

It all sounds (and looks) like a really bad joke.

I can see it now, Ron's "ai ee ki" vs Soke Guy's imagination.

Absolutely hilarious, I hope it's on pay-per-view.
