I am doing a major clean and clear of my books and videos. Mostly Japanese history and martial culture, but some Chinese stuff aswell.

Just a quick update for those interested...

The following auctions (and related items) have sold: numbers 3, 5, 6, 7, & 8. Number 9 will conclude shortly. The reserve has been met.

Number 4 has been relisted. Number 1 may be relisted in a week; I have a nibble and have said I will hold-off for that amount of time. Number 2 will probably be relisted after the holidays.

Better someone is able to enjoy/appreciate them than I
a) tuck them back in a box, which someone will have to deal with when I am dust, or
b) burn them in the fire-pit in the backyard, which is what I did with my shimenawa and menkyo.


BTW, I have two Ofuda. One from Atago shrine and one from the Bujinkan Honbu. If there is a Dojo-cho somewhere who would like them, PM me. These will not be sold (so don't ask!). They will either be passed on or end up in the fire-pit. Consider this carefully... you may not want my psychic-cooties in your Dojo :D

Sorry guys. All transactions have been completed. All items listed for sale have been sold. Also, I've had a couple of inquiries about the Ofuda. They have been passed on to a Bujinkan instructor.

Re: Kukishin Bujutsu...
Best to start pestering Buyubooks about another printing if you want to add it to your personal library. I'm sure if they saw enough interest they would do it.

It is a great book for those interested in Kukishin Ryu. It is part of its history and also serves as an interesting base from which to research the use of Koryu to promote ultra-nationalism in pre-war Japan. But that's a whole new topic :D

I'm preparing my next batch of auctions and hope to have some up over the weekend. Will add to this thread when I do.
