Not sure if this is the right place, but here we go. Does anyone one know will I can find a CD of of tokido drums? I went to boraders but they can not orderit. The last place that I saw a ad for the cd was in black belt.

If anyone can help? I would be most honored. Thank you in advance.

I think what you are looking for are 'taiko drums'.

A well-stocked record store should have an international music section...look for a Japanese group called Kodo...it's prime stuff. Try to find their earlier recordings, as their later stuff dabbles in a lot of 'world music' influences and generally are somewhat less authentic. It's still all good tho'.

I don't know if this will help finding CDs or not, but I stumbled across the office of a taiko group at the Kinokuniya Mall in San Francisco's Japantown last year: S.F. Taiko Dojo Showroom (415) 928-2456. The office was never open when I was at the mall so I can't say what they do or offer. It was a tiny office as I recall, I wouldn't describe it as a "showroom".
