Since Sharp Phil's Blades of Death Dojo is gone, I edited out all of the BOD sig lines I could find. While it was a funny concept, I did receive a lot of complaints about it, some from concerned parents and martial artists.

I will soon be introducing a new sig policy for e-budo.

If you have any comments or suggestions about signatures, post them here!

well quite obviously I think that any racist/insulting sigs should not be allowed (not that I've seen any)

also don't allow ones that are extremely big, I've seen this on other forums with sigs taking up half a page (big nono)

It's not gone. It's redecorating. ;)

Where did all the other posts go?

OK, once again, I don't see why anyone would be 'concerned' about such a harmless joke. Get this: it's not a real dojo. It was a gag.

I think as long as a sig is not insulting, have huge graphics, or many lines it should be fine.

All off topic posts, fluff, and nonsense get deleted when outside of the member's lounge.

Yes, I have received complaints about the Dojo of Death sigs. I guess some people thought it was a real school...

I guess it's safe to say some people are fairly stupid. ;)

My first post wasn't off topic. It was in direct reference to the topic of this thread.

Are mine alright with this name and my other login name?

Nope, too big. I am thinking of setting a standard of 4 lines of text max.

As long as it is not over exsessive then it could be considered alright?

John,

Does that include any spacings?

i.e. 4 lines in total, or 4 lines of text?
