In the kihon kuritsuke, kuri hanashi and tai atari: What is the japanese term for the "catch" that shijo/uchidachi does on shidachi?

I am un-aware of a term for this move. However keep in mind that in reality this "catch" would in fact be a "strike" to the wrist.

This is what makes shidachi co-operate, otherwise these waza would be somewhat unrealistic, especially kuri hanashi.

This is why shidachi has to have light hands and not offer any resistance.

The only Japanese word I have heard used for this move is "toru" meaning to take.
