I have read that bo hi helps the balance of the sword to be closer to the tsuba, does that mean that most swords without bo hi, nihonto and non nihonto have their balance further out towards the tip? Just a thought i had...

ho ho just kidding actually the Bo Hi/Fuller is for lightening the blade without effecting its strength. All things being equal the lighter the blade the easier it is to kill someone with it
