What Japanese weapon styles are available that use a two weapons (one in each hand? The only ones I know of are nito(long & short sword) and using a jutte with a fan. I've always liked the idea of duel weapons, I sometimes trained with sai with my old Shito ryu group.

Composite weapons, while relationship-dependent upon one aspect of the weapon to another, fits my understanding of the topic. Kusarigama, chigiriki, etc. Ryan

Tanks for the info.

Any more info one twin kodachi? I've always been interested in nito but the tachi, to me, seem too big and clumbersom to weild in one hand. Although the only experience I have with the tachi is with nito is the uchdachi side of SMR kenjutsu (kata No.7).
