real or training? sharp ot dull? and lastly what ryu koryu or bujinkan? all of these things do make a difference

Yes it's for training and for the Bujinkan Ryu, but if you do know where you can get a real Kusarigama similiar to the Bujinkan Ryu's uses to would be most thankfull.

Dont know about the quality, but tozando in general are great.

You may also want to checkout http://www.bugei.com They have a really nice Kusarigama and weight for sale for under $100, the only catch is that you will need to provide (and attach) your own chain. My SMR sensei's son fabricated his own out of aluminum & I have made one out of an exotic hardwood called Wenge (Photos can be reached I think from the Jo threads page...look back a few months) if your in the mood to make your own. good luck in your search
