First I dont know if this is the place for my question, but I dont know were else to put it. I was involved in a discussion about the development of Tae Kwon Do and howe the fighting was conducted in Korean history. My guess was that it was not all that different from the way it was in Japan. The question was more precisely if they used kicks and hits or more grapplinglike methods. I guessed that the korean had lighter protection than the japanese, much like the ashigaru. And I, of course?, guessed that it was centered round grappling methods when it comes to unarmed battlefield fighting. Some comments about difference in unarmed military fighting between Japan and Korea in the 14-15 century?

And, sorry for my bad english.
