Hey all,

I am thinking of putting down some wood flooring in my dojo and want to get an idea of expense, types of wood, etc. from you all that have some. Can anyone give me some thoughts?

Thank you!!

I don't know if a laminate flooring or real hardwood would be better for a dojo. However, I have Pergo laminate flooring in my home and it is very durable and easy to put down. It ranges between 1.95 and 3.18 a square foot if you order through the pergo web site.Home Depot is I believe the only seller of the product. Try this web site www.internetfloors.com Good Luck.

You might try contacting my instructor, Mike Fontenot, for some information about the flooring in our dojo. I don't remember the details (other than it was a pain in the %$# to put in), but it has stood up to some pretty serious wear and tear. He can be reached at info@foothillsbudokai.org .

Hope this helps,
