I found this during my searches for the unknown and unexplained.
There are a couple things interesting about this.
one: The guys wore black and had masks.
two: This happened before there were ninja in movies or popular culture.
three: The thought was that if they don't know about it in China Town then it's a real mystery :rolleyes: This does seem to add credibility to the age of the story.
four: The weapon and tactics were believable, espescially considering that they had no knowledge at the time of anything of the sort. If it had been made up after the fact you can be guaranteed there would have been a straight sword involved.
Not saying I believe this story, I just hadn't heard it and there were enough points to perk my ears.
