I was wonderring if anybody knows of books online for sale which do in depth about sumo training, what its all about/how it works etc and other things such as history and expected sumo ability ? I would really like to read in depth about these wrestlers.

For books, I'd recommend starting with Lora Sharnoff, Grand Sumo (New York: Weatherhill, rev. ed., 1993).

If you are looking to increase you general knowledge about sumo, there are several good online publications, such as Sumo Fan Magazine (http://www.sumofanmag.com), Le Monde du Sumo (http://www.lemondedusumo.com), a great forum at SumoForum (http://www.sumoforum.net).

Piles of excellent resources abound!
