The site is legit as is the owner.

I've bought from this site before - I'm using an antique tsuba I bought to mount up an L-6 Howard Clark.

I know others who have bought from here as well.

Good stuff.

Mike Yamasaki is a good friend of mine and has lectured at my dojo to both John Lovato's and my students at my request! He is solid and if he has something that you want and can afford, you should buy it.

I hope this helps.

If only I had 13.5k: http://www.ricecracker.com/japanese_swords/katana/sk6.htm

That is one of the few antiques I have seen with the right length for our style.

Thanks for the responses guys. I ended up hearing from Mike. It looks as though I will be purchasing the sword i wanted after all. The shinshinto blade thats advertised for $6500 U.S with a 30 inch blade. A good cutting blade i reckon. Might even look nice with a good polish when i can afford it!

Kind Regards,
