http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1d0MopunnA, quite a series of videos by Nishiuchi sensei from his Panther Productions instructional series. Any comments?

I had the oportunity to train with Nishiuchi sensei as well as Bolz sensei (she is on you tube with her Pang Gai Noon video series)

Nishiuchi sensei was origionaly under the Zen Okinawa Kobudo Remnei, in the earlier tapes he still uses their patch.

Basicaly they do Matayoshi Kobudo, and Uechi Ryu under the guidance of Kinjo Takashi Kaicho (http://www.okinawa-budou.org/IOKA/kaicho_bio.html)

In my opinion good, "traditional" karateka with solid technique.
The last set is pure gold (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rl_3fj6jV3w)

Please keep in mind that the major part of those videos origionaly shot for panther productions (tapes 1-7 I believe)
were done in one day so unfortunately some errors are present (source Bolz Sensei)

Take care.

After coming across these videos on youtube, I learned that they were only small sections of a longer video(s) previously put out by Panther.

I saw that the entire set (11 videos) was sold by Century (I think it was a total of $106 US for the entire set. I bought them and I found them very informative).

www.centuryfitness.com (type in Nishiuchi)

Each one is pretty long (an average of about 1 hour). If you study Matayoshi Kobudo, they have alot of great info. If you study another art, I think you will still find them very useful.

Good luck!

I've seen the videos. I've limited experience (less than a lowly 10th kyu :) ), but think they are a great resource. I wonder about the videos that are showing up on Matayoshi kobudo...does it violate copyright laws to have them youtube?
