View Full Version : Kenjutsu in New York City?

I'm looking for kenjutsu training in New York City. The closest example to what I'm looking for is http://www.newyorkbudokai.net/ . This school seems perfect for me, but unfortunately classes only meet twice a week, and the scheduling heavily conflicts with my work schedule. Can anyone point me in the direction of an alternative?

I'm actually considering a work change if I'm unable to find another location to train.

Hi Roy,
Before you get your chops busted by one of the moderators, it is a requirement of e-budo that you have your real name in each post.

That being said, I would recommend Toyama Ryu at Byakokan dojo. http://newyorkbattodo.com/

Sang Kim is a very good instructor and very talented.

Not sure if anyone is still reading this thread, but you can find several other NYC kenjutsu schools listed here:
