Hi all,

just got this through the post and thought a few people may be interested in going (basically if you do MJER you should go...we dont get that many 7th dan visitors now do we... )

go to website and theres a form to fill in. Works out quite cheap...

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Mike and I’m writing on behalf of the University of Kent Iaijutsu Club. I wondered if you might be interested in a seminar we are holding in Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu being held in July (20th-23rd) at the University of Kent at Canterbury. The seminar will be led by Sensei Atsumi Hatakenaka, 7th Dan Kyoshi of the All Japan Kendo Federation who we are flying over especially for the event.
Forms and more details can be found at:

http://www.ee.kent.ac.uk/~cpb2/Iai_Seminar_07.htm

if you're at all interested.

I hope you and your club may find this seminar of interest. The seminar is open to any and all of any level of experience and we would be glad to have you and your club along. If you are not interested but could forward this information to you club we would be greatly appreciative!
Best Regards,
Mike Day

Sensei speaks only a little English, however she is bringing with her her son as interpreter who is fluent (and apparently acts as interpreter a lot) and we also have Sensei Kuni, one of her students who has been training with us for the last year who is also fluent (as well as being Tokyo Champion in Iaido). It promises to be an exciting weekend!
