I recently got a silk hakama, and it's the first silk item I've ever owned. I can easily google how to clean silk, but I'm wondering if there are perhaps any hakama-specifc requirements that a generic silk-cleaning guide wouldn't cover. The only thing I can think of is the pleating, but that shouldn't be too hard to maintain.
By the way, if you've never seen a silk hakama, the pleats are really nice and crisp. Well...they are on mine I should say; I assume its some quality of silk that makes it that way, but I suppose I don't really know for sure.
