I like to research different facets of the martial arts, self-defense, and other related areas (e.g. exercise, diet and nutrition). I like to have this information for my own personal use, as well as having it available to assist me in my free-lance writing. As a result, I have quite a library of materials.
I was wondering if anyone can suggest any links on line to get reviews for many of these materials. These days, I'm trying to be a "smart shopper," and I think having access to these links would help out quite a bit. This way, I can gather pertinent information before purchasing any books or tapes. Any assistance anyone can give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Jimmie (gentle reminder that last names are required),

I've got some reviews posted at Koryu.com.

Take a look at http://koryu.com/books/bookreviews.html

Hope this helps!

Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble also post reader comments. No, they aren't as uniformly good as professional reviews, but the alternative is hoping Koryu.com or JAMA reviews the book, and often that doesn't happen.
