Hi all!,

I was looking for a DVD with the hirano-no-kata from the kodokan Judo.
I know, its perhaps not easy to find.
But I hope you can help me.

Kind Regards,

Joshua:)

Never heard of hirano-no-kata in Kodokan Judo.

There are to my knowledge:

Nage-No-Kata
Katame-no-Kata
GoshinJutsu-No-Kata
Itsutsu-No-Kata
Kime-No-Kata
Ju-No-Kata
Koshiki-No-Kata

Peace

Dennis

There is a kata created by Tokio Hirano. Please see http://judoforum.com/index.php?showtopic=11414 for more information.

There are 10 kata due to the Kodokan, but several other judo kata created outside the auspices of the Kodokan do exist.

No - I am afraid this is totally wrong.

The Itsutsu-no-kata has nothing to do with any kata created by Hirano.

But yes, - the demonstration you refer to is not that great.
