The passing of Reishin Kawai Shihan, 8th dan Aikikai, occured on Jannuary 26. Kawai Sensei was 78 years old. He introduced Aikido in Brazil in 1963. During the last 46 years he had many students and spread Aikido spread all over Brazil.
