I just noticed a book is going to be published on koryu jujutsu. Found it at amazon.com.

The title is Classical Fighting Arts of Japan: A Complete Guide to Koryu Jujutsu.

Publisher is Kodansha, author is Serge Mol (a.o.).

Is there anyone with more information on this book?

I don't know anything about it, but a write up about one of the authors can be found at http://www.renshin.com/Soke/Soke.html.

Does anyone know anything about Koden Enshin Ryu Kumiuchi?

Neil,

thank you for your reaction. I have never heard of Koden Enshin Ryu Kumiuchi.
I was asking because I have been waiting for years for a book in English on this subject. Lot's of books on jujutsu but only very few are worth reading and almost none on koryu jujutsu. Original Japanese works translated in English and published would do very well is my guess. Until know there is only one such book published by Kodansha I think "the hidden roots of aikido" on daito Ryu.

Hi Neil,

Here is some more information about Enshin Ryu and Tanaka Fumon. http://www4.justnet.ne.jp/~s.kenniti/Fkai/Data01/ynsn1.gif He is also well known in the Kukishin Ryu circles. He has two Kuki related schools:
Minaki-den Kukishin Ryu Bojutsu
Tenshin Hyoho Soden Kukishin Ryu
