Good basic intro. People have to remember these stress reaction things WILL happen. How much they will affect you personally is dependent upon your genetics (some people are born "special forces" material, for example), and upon realistic stressors in quality training.

Did you get that heart rate information from Siddle?

That has been put to bed in terms of Force Science, Siddle himself has apparently re-thought it. It is more complicated than a simply measure of heart rate.
