Does anyone know the exact history of Kenseido? I have searched online, and am aware of the similarities to Shorinji Kempo, but I am curious as to the origins of the art, who the founders were, what their background was, etc. If anyone with extensive knowledge of Kenseido sees this post, I would very much appreciate a very detailed history. Thanks very much.

I'm always interested in reading on the birth of gendai budo, but after reading that thread and doing some research I'm no more clearer on how Kenseido came to be.

Apparently an offshoot of Shorinji Kempo, itself a syncretic modern school.

Looks like the founder Akizuki sensei died not too long ago. They claim a good number of dojo in the Kanto region.
