It is with great sadness that I inform you of the passing of Sam D. Pearson.
Pearson Sensei was a pioneer of karate in the United States. He began his karate training in Gotemba, Japan in 1955 and continued his training with Shimabuku Eizo on Okinawa in the late 50's and early 60s. He will be deeply missed by the many students and family members he leaves behind.
