A Seminar with Carl Long, Hanshi-Ho, 22nd So-Shihan
This weekend workshop will cover Muso Jikiden Eishin-Ryu Iai-Heiho (Iaijutsu) and Shinto Muso-Ryu Jojutsu, as taught within the Kokusai Nippon Budo-Kai.

ABOUT:
Carl Long, Hanshi-Ho, is 22nd So-Shihan of the Masaoka lineage of Muso Jikiden Eishin-Ryu Iai-Heiho, and Chairman (Kaicho) of the Kokusai Nippon Budo-Kai (KNBK). Long Sensei is responsible for the instruction and certification of KNBK Instructors and Dojos throughout the world. Long Sensei is the most senior student of Masayuki Shimabukuro, 21st So-Shihan. Carl Long Sensei is currently ranked 7th- Dan in Muso Jikiden Eishin-Ryu Iai-Heiho and holds the coveted titles of Hanshi-Ho and Shihan through the Dai Nippon Butoku-Kai in Japan. Long Sensei is also ranked 8th-Dan in Shorin-Ryu Karate, 6th-Dan Shito-Ryu Karate, 5th-Dan Okinawan Kobudo and 5th-Dan Shindo Muso-Ryu Jojutsu.
Long Sensei will share the arts of Muso Jikiden Eishin-Ryu Iaijutsu, Kenjutsu, and Batto-Ho, along with Ono-Ha Itto-Ryu Kenjutsu and Shinto Muso-Ryu Jojutsu. This is an open seminar; beginners to advanced students are all welcome to attend. Attendees may bring a bokken (wooden sword), or use one of the dojo bokken if they do not own their own or an iaito.
