Interesting video from Salahuddin Muhammad (Hontai Hakkei Ryu Aikijujutsu) about the difference between technique using conventional mechanical manipulation of joints and pain compliance -- as in jujutsu -- and technique that is driven by aiki, the so-called internal methods ("aiki myoden"). In this video, Salahuddin Muhammad Sensei demonstrates both ways slowly and at speed so the difference can be observed.
