I've seen some video footage of the system. Although I've never tried it and do not know much about it, it seems to me like there is little to no grappling principles or techniques whatsoever. If that is that case, I'm wondering how effective it is, because I think a system should have a balanced representation of both striking, and grappling techniques. Maybe someone who knows more could shoot down my observation? Anyone care to jump in?

I have a friend who is a Krav instructor and I have worked out with them and taught seminars for them several times. Grappling does exist in their curriculum, but is encountered further along. They are primarily a hit and kick approach, but they incorporate anything they see fit into the curriculum. They are a composite combative and they have civilian and military application. (The military application teaches all kinds of things including how to smother a grenade.) Their US headquarters is in LA and they have a website.
