I believe there was some great dialog going in this debate.

That is a poor database design John, you should report that to the vBulletin people as a bug.

Could someone please tell me reason why this thread was removed?

I was finding this debate of great interest, since I hail from the region in question. When I return to this forum the next day, the entire thread disappears. WTF?

Could someone please enlighten me?

It wasn't a bug. I hit the wrong button that was supposed to delete the one post that the poster wanted removed for personal reasons. Instead, the whole thing went. That is what I get for trying to edit messages in the morning before I have my coffee...
