Ummm... OW!
Where did this monstrosity come from? (I can't read the source site...Nihongo!!)

Actually, it might be useful for pruning small shrubs and clearing brush...But then again, you can probably get a good machete for a fraction of whatever that Frankenblade costs.
And ...
I wanna see the owner perform noto!
Yowcha!

Um, I ask you forgive...
Voi ristussaatana miten ruma!
Translation: Oh christsatan how ugly!
Sometimes only own language does justice to feelings.
Well...sometimes samurai has to do woodworks...

I can't see a hamon, so I have some hope that they didn't use a good blade to make that abortion with.

Wow, that blade would most definately not work well with Hoki ryu's waza (Ouch). unless you worn those chainsaw proof gloves. I also wonder how often you would need to replace the saya if it was used for regular iaijutsu keiko.

I think that thing is pretty cool. Imagine catching the other persons sword with the spine. May not be traditional, but sure does look cool.
Can I watch you do noto with it please Janty? :)

Chris.

What, you guys don't understand? Learning hwo to do noto with this thing is a skill that is only taught upon receipt of the mekyo certificate and is one of the most treasured aspects of Dai Rambo Jutsu!

Since Janty won't do noto...perhaps tori-i? As to the home protection, think I'll stick to my 9mm :)
P.S.- Mr. Bristol, shouldn't that be 'Coleridge'? LOL
