For you sake buffs out there. There are 4 new sake bottlings from the SakeOne Company which makes Momokawa. They were created with Roy Yamaguchi of Roy's restaurants.

Wind (a very dry, full-bodied Daiginjo)
Sky (a semi-dry, medium-bodied Daiginjo)
Snow (a rough-filtered, softly sweet, full-bodied Daiginjo Nigori Genshu)
Rain (a light, ginger-infused, semi-dry Daiginjo

I have not tried these yet, but I just read about them and saw that Roy's in the Westin hotel here in town has a tasting package with a custom tasting menu for $65. It includes one shot of each sake with a specially created appetizer to compliment each of the sake.
:rolleyes

Yeah, at that price it better be special. The food at Roy's is nothing to rave about at the prices they charge. But I'm curious about the sake since the regular Momokawa stuff is just great

Anyone tried these yet? If no one knows, I guess I'll have to go buy some and see for myself.
